Google Chrome has begun testing a new tool that warns users about resource waste and how to solve it.
According to X leaker @Leopeva64, the current Google Chrome Canary browser has two experimental flags, #performance-intervention-ui and #performance-intervention-demo-mode, which, if enabled, will alert users to tabs that consume a lot of resources.
As illustrated above, in the toolbar section, users will notice a Performance concerns warning with information about which tabs are taking the most resources.
Then, in addition to clicking Fix Now to dismiss all of these tabs, users can close individual tabs by hovering their cursor over them in the performance problem notice.
This functionality is now available in the newest version of the Google Chrome Canary Browser by enabling the two experimental flags listed above. Users may also go to the Chrome Settings > Performance page and enable the Performance problem warning from there.
This function, in my opinion, is quite useful since it tells us which tabs are using a lot of resources. But what are your thoughts? Comment here and share your thoughts.
